I'm taking a break!
Hi Friend!
I hope you had a good week!
Tomorrow (March 1) is another 24 hour screen free challenge - and honestly, it is here at the perfect time. It’s been a hard week, and I’m not going to go into details, but very busy - I had meetings every night after working all day, and trying to keep up... just not getting it. I’m ready to unplug for a day and RESET. If you’re interested in giving it a try, here’s Kelsey Green’s challenge website
One of the meetings was a webinar for Black History Month through the New England Botanical Gardens about growing vanilla orchids with Derrick Haynes, also known as The Chocolate Botanist, and it was great! I started following him on Instagram during the webinar, and after the webinar ended, I had a voice memo from him - I’m excited to have him on the podcast soon, and looking forward to hearing what he shares!
I’ve been in your inbox for a whole year now, and I’m going to take a bit of a break from this, too - not every week; you’ll hear from me before too long, but I really need to focus on moving. I hope you enjoy the break from me!

Grounded in Maine
This week I talked to Talor Stewart, Architect and Author of the # 1 Best Selling Conscious Home Design. His process is so interesting and holistic, and feels really good. He asks about what makes you happy, and what does your home truly needs to provide. He says, “Architecture is not about houses, it’s about people.”
